Top batter or bowlerThe leading run scorer or wicket taker within a defined group.Read the rules for a player who does not take part and for players who finish level.
Over or session runsRuns scored within a specified part of play.Check the delivery range and how incomplete overs, extras and interruptions are treated.
Tournament winnerThe eventual winner of a competition such as the IPL.This is an outright market. It does not settle from the result of a single fixture.

Pre-match and live cricket odds

A pre-match price describes an outcome before the match starts. A live price can change after a wicket, a boundary or a change in the target. Markets can also be suspended. A displayed score is not proof that the corresponding price is still available.

Decimal odds include the original stake in the displayed return. For example, odds of 2.00 with a hypothetical stake of 100 show a total return of 200 if the selection wins under the market rules. The stake can be lost; this arithmetic is not a prediction.

IPL, T20, ODI and Test formats

IPL and other T20 leagues use short innings, so an over-based market covers a different window from an ODI or Test market. ODI team totals refer to a longer innings. Test cricket may have multiple innings and a draw outcome. Always read the full event and market name.

An IPL winner market concerns the tournament; a match-winner market concerns one fixture. Team totals, first-innings totals and player totals are separate selections. The same word, such as โ€œrunsโ€, does not make their settlement rules interchangeable.

Schedules and market availability change. This guide does not present old tournament names or invented event counts as current fixtures.

A checklist for rain, ties and settlement

  1. Confirm the match, competition and start time. Similar team names may appear in different competitions.
  2. Read the full market scope: team, innings, player and delivery range.
  3. Check the operator's rules for reduced overs, revised targets and abandoned matches.
  4. Read the tie or draw rule and whether a super over is included for that market.
  5. Check player-participation and dead-heat rules for player markets.
  6. Keep a record of the accepted price and the rules attached to the selection.

Cricket betting questions

What is the difference between pre-match and live cricket betting?

Pre-match markets are offered before play. Live markets change during the match and may pause between deliveries. A score shown in a feed can be delayed, so the price and terms shown by the operator must be checked separately.

How are cricket bets settled after rain or a shortened match?

Settlement depends on the operator and the market. Check minimum-overs requirements, revised targets, abandonment rules and whether a result was already determined. Do not assume every market is void or every market remains valid.

Does this page provide current IPL fixtures or live prices?

This page is a guide to cricket markets and formats. The live events page shows available feed data. It is not an official fixture list or a guarantee that a market is offered by an operator.
